Ted Godsil

Ted Godsil, 70, of The Villages, FL, passed from this life Saturday, June 13, 2015. Born in Galesburg, IL he was the son of the late Larry and Ruth (Tingley) Godsil. Ted was retired from the Maytag Corp., of Galesburg, IL. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He moved to The Villages from Galesburg, IL in 2007. Ted enjoyed golf and computers. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Judy Godsil and brothers, Dave and Steve. Ted leaves his sons, Troy and wife Kelly of Loveland, CO; Scott and wife Krista of Galesburg, IL; daughter, Julie Lundeen and husband Roger of Galesburg, IL; brothers, Jack and wife Kathy of The Villages, Jeff and wife Keiko of Columbia, SC; sister, Jane Anderson and husband Rev. Tim of Altona, IL; (7) grandchildren and (1) great grandchild.
Services will be held on Monday June 22, 2015 at Hinchliff-Pearson West Abingdon Chapel, Abingdon, IL from 1 – 3 p.m.
