Terence Lee ‘Terry’ Calkins

Terrence Lee ‘Terry’ Calkins, 71, Leesburg passed away on July 29, 2017 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Calkins was born on April 4, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to his parents Frederick V. Calkins and Virginia M. (Reiner) Calkins. He was a former Manager for Regency Electrical in Jacksonville, Florida. He and his loving wife Marlene moved to Florida 10 years ago from Parkville, Missouri. He was of the Catholic faith and was by trade a Master Electrician. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) and a member of N.E.C.A. (National Electrical Contractors Association.) He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years: Marlene Calkins of Leesburg, FL; four sons: Mark Calkins of Puyallup, WA, Aaron (Laura) Calkins of New Boston, NH, Tony Calkins of Conway, AR and Evan Calkins of Leesburg, FL; a sister: Christine (Michael) Terry of Toledo, OH; two granddaughters: Madeline Calkins and Lily Calkins and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Judy and Chelle.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Page-Theus Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,  Leesburg, FL. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 5  to 7 p.m. at Page-Theus Funeral Home.
