The Villages Regional Hospital honored as ‘a great place to work’

Becker’s Hospital Review has published the 2015 edition of its 150 great places to work in healthcare in the United States and Central Florida Health Alliance (CFHA) – parent company of Leesburg Regional Medical Center, The Villages Regional Hospital and Leesburg Rehabilitation Hospital – made the cut.

The organizations featured on the list were selected by the Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team based on workforce-centric awards received, benefits offered, wellness initiatives and efforts to improve professional development, diversity and inclusion along with work-life balance and a sense of community and unity among employees.

Amie Richason, vice president of human resources at CFHA, is pleased to see her company’s name on the list.

“Our employees are our most valuable resource and their health, happiness and success is vitally important in their work lives as they provide care for the people of Lake, Sumter and Marion counties,” Richason said.

CFHA offers health and wellness benefits to employees as well as tobacco cessation courses, nicotine replacement programs and reduced rates to its on-site fitness center. Employees may also receive a performance improvement incentive bonus for reaching quality and patient satisfaction goals. Additionally, the innovative Bright Ideas Program inspires team members to share their ideas, and if an idea is implemented and results in a cost-savings, the team member can receive up to 2 percent of those savings.

“We remain dedicated to providing our 3,000 team members with the programs, benefits and resources to achieve meaningful, rewarding careers,” said Richason. “We are honored to be recognized among the top organizations in the United States and for the acclaim this brings to our area.”

To explore career opportunities within Leesburg Regional Medical Center, The Villages Regional Hospital, Leesburg Rehabilitation Hospital or any of Central Florida Health Alliance’s ambulatory centers, please visit the CFHA careers website at www.CFHAcareers.com.
