A three-car crash snarled traffic at 8:34 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of County Road 466 and Morse Boulevard.
One vehicle car wound up on its side as a result of the collision.
That car had been westbound on County Road 466 and was attempting to make a left turn to head southbound on Morse Boulevard, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. That vehicle violated the right of way of a vehicle that had been eastbound on County Road 466.
The vehicle that wound up on its side slid into a third vehicle.
The man who had been driving the vehicle that wound up on its side was ticketed on a charge of violation of right-of-way. He and the other two drivers all escaped injury.
The Villages Public Safety Department and Sumter County EMS also responded to the scene.
