Tickets reading ‘partially obstructed view’ at The Sharon

To the Editor:

We attended what should have been a magnificent concert last night at The Sharon featuring Fernando and Susan Varela, pianist/composer William Joseph and the brilliant and beautiful violinist Caroline Campbell. The Sharon is a beautiful venue, however, future attendees shall be warned – when your ticket says “partially obstructed view” it is incorrect. “Fully obstructed view” is all we saw when the star performers stood/played front stage during the performance which was 98% of the time. It would be smart of the Sharon production team to place video screens above, to the side or back stage for everyone to be able to see. Everyone in the balcony boxes had the same issue. We were able to view nothing until the end of the concert when some of us stood up against the side wall to get a complete view of the stage for the encore. Fortunately, the music was so good, one could close their eyes and bask in the brilliance of these performers.
