A tip jar was reportedly stolen Thursday morning after the glass front door was shattered at an Ocala bakery.
A Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to SunBless Jamaican Bakery located at 9327 SE Maricamp Road in reference to a commercial burglary, according to an incident report. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the owner of Vintage Hair Creations, who reported the incident after noticing that the front glass door of the bakery was shattered when she arrived to her business. The bakery was cleared and no one was inside. The deputy did not notice anything else disturbed in the store, but made contact with the bakery’s owner, who advised that the only thing missing was a tip jar that was kept under the counter. Approximately $300 in damages were done to the door.
