The Little Sumter Service Area Utility System this week experienced a six-inch force main break at the intersection of Southern Trace Boulevard and Oak Street. The area was backfilled and cleaned. The only basin affected was Torch Lake on the Glenview Champions Golf Course just north of where the break occurred. The basin has been posted with signs stating “No Public Access.” Once the water has passed all Department of Environmental Protection testing, the signs will be removed, according to the District Office.
