A line of large, and small, antique tractors arrived at Brownwood Paddock Square around noontime for the annual tractor show.
The tractors proceeded around the square as spectators looked on, before parking on two sides of the square.
After they were parked, and it was safe, people of all ages began inspecting them, with the younger ones showing curiosity, and some of the older ones reminiscing about the old days.
A boy named Brantley, from Weirsdale, came to see the tractor show, and to take some pictures with his camera.
“I drive my dad’s tractor. It’s a yellow one, but it’s not as big as these,” he said.
Darrell Shirey, from the Village of Sabal Chase, was inspecting a big yellow International, and was overheard explaining to Bill Kelly, from the Village of Creekside Landings, about how he thought it worked.
When he was young, Shirey lived on a small farm in New Bethlehem, Pa. until he joined the Navy.
“These tractors brought back some memories of those days on the farm,” he said.
