Two Army veterans pass out flags in Villages on Memorial Day

Two U.S. Army veterans, Chris Benvenuto and Kim Castro, spent part of Memorial Day giving away American flags.

The veterans bought the American flags and then searched for residents in The Villages who might need a replacement flag. Both said they thought it would be a good way to honor our country and all veterans. Benvenuto resides in the Village of Rio Grande. Castro resides in the Village of Pennecamp.
