Two people die at scene of accident in Sumter County

Two people were killed in a collision Saturday evening in Sumter County.

Arnold John Buschena, 47, of Lake Panasoffkee, had been at the wheel of a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue at 6:05 p.m. traveling south on County Road 475 south of County Road 312 when his vehicle crossed the center and struck a 2013 Hyundai Sonata driven by Bradley John Morgan, 36, of Bushnell, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Morgan had not been wearing a seatbelt, the report noted.
