The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two burglaries that occurred this week in Summerfield.
A homeowner in the 3300 block of SE 148th Place reported that someone entered her home through a sliding glass door and took jewelry, a Kindle Fire, a five-gallon jug containing about $400 in change and a digital camera along with other items.
In the second case in the 7400 block of SE 135th Street, a garage was entered and items taken from a car. The stolen items included a duffel bag containing a driver’s license, cell phone, and prescription Tramadol.
