Two teens arrested after entering home of woman on Sleepy Hollow Road in Leesburg

Lake County sheriff’s deputies worked with Leesburg Police Department officers Thursday morning to apprehend two male suspects after the two entered an occupied home in Leesburg in an apparent burglary.

Deputies responded to the home located at 328 Sleepy Hollow Road in Leesburg just after 10 a.m. Thursday morning when the victim called to report the burglary. The victim said she heard someone in her home and when she came out of the bedroom, she noticed two males wearing hoodies fleeing her property.

Deputies and Leesburg officers responded, established a perimeter, and began searching the surrounding area for the two. A sheriff’s canine team worked with the sheriff’s helicopter to locate the two in the area of the Laurel Oaks Apartments nearby. The two were positively identified by the victim and were taken into custody. Keson Donaldson, 18, of Eustis and 16-year-old Chadale Grey of Leesburg were both charged with burglary to an occupied dwelling. Both confessed to the crime.
