Van W. Lott III

Van W. Lott, III, age 78, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 under the care of The Villages Hospice. He was the husband of Barbara K. Lott for 55 years.

Born in Summit, NJ and raised in Bristol, CT he was a son of the late Van and Ruth Lott, Jr. Prior to his retirement Van worked as a Manager for the telephone company. He was a Veteran of the US Army. He loved to fish and play golf.

Van will be deeply missed by his wife, Barbara and daughter, Gretchen Lott Maurer of Eastford, CT and son: John Hankin Lott of Milford, CT. He was the grandfather of Kierstin, Amanda, Catilin and John Christopher. Van is also survived by sister, Ruth Ellison of Bloomfield, CT.
