Vehicle lands on side in accident at U.S. 301 and SR 44A

Emergency personnel were on the scene of an accident Saturday morning in which a vehicle landed on its side in Wildwood.

The accident occurred at about 10:20 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 301 and State Road 44A.

The windshield of the vehicle on its side had to be removed to extricate the vehicle’s two occupants. However, they escaped injury.

Sumter County Fire & EMS as well as Wildwood police responded to the scene of the accident.
