A ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 11 at the Veterans Memorial Park in The Villages.
This year’s speakers will be Bob Turner, Chief Petty Officer, Atlantic Camera Det,. U.S. Navy; Congressman Daniel Webster, and Ursula Simpson.
Amy Sexton and The Villages Sounds of Scotland with Kevin Selfridge will perform.
The VMP Honor Guard will be under the command of Warren Beard and Vice CDR Dan Williams.
This year’s additional new bricks will be dedicated at this program. The park has only a few more spaces for bricks available. The Veterans Memorial Park is located in Spanish Springs facing Lake Mira Mar, between Paige Place and the golf cart bridge over U.S. Hwy. 27/441. Those attending should bring a chair for comfort. The CERT Team will be present for medical emergencies. VMP is a pet free park.
