VHA to present service award to local law enforcement agencies

The VHA General Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11  at the Lake Miona Recreation Center. The event will include he annual awards presentation event.

All Villagers are encouraged to attend.

The VHA will recognize and honor outstanding support to Villagers in three categories:

(1) Service organizations,

(2) Partner organizations from the VHA “Circle of Partners”, and

(3) Volunteer organizations where many Villagers contribute their time and talents.

The awards this year will be presented to:

Service Award:  The Lady Lake and Wildwood Police Departments.

Partner Award:  District Property Management Department.

Volunteers Award: The Villages Regional Hospital Auxiliary Foundation which has more than 800 volunteers.

Presentations will be made by Villages Vice President for Community Relations Gary Lester, District Manager Janet Tutt and VHA Past President and now Sumter County Commissioner Don Hahnfeldt.

Refreshments will be served to include coffee and a celebratory cake to mark the occasion.

Serious top-down management failure in The Villages
