A Village of Caroline woman got her first hole-in-one last week at Southern Star Executive Golf Course.

Marilyn Bonello got the hole-in-one on March 21 at Hole 6. She used a Callaway 3 wood.

“I started golfing a little over a year ago so this came as a real surprise.  After I took my swing, my husband and two friends, watched, as the ball appeared to move in slow motion and drifted towards and into the cup.  Can’t wait for it to happen again,” she said.
