Village of Silver Lake woman ticketed following two-vehicle crash

A 58-year-old Village of Silver Lake woman was ticketed on a charge of failure to yield at an intersection following an accident at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 4. at Griffin Avenue and Shay Boulevard.

Sandra Jean Marino was traveling south on Shay Boulevard, stopped at the stop sign at Shay Boulevard and Griffin Avenue then struck a vehicle driven by Jonathan N. McKinney, 34, of Weirsdale, in the left rear as his vehicle made a left turn onto Griffin Avenue, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
