Village of St. James man celebrates hole-in-one on his wife’s birthday

Dave Jenkins of the Village of St. James got his first hole-in-one at Volusia on the first hole. He used an 8-iron because it was chilly and he was “all bundled up.”

He got the hole-in-on on Dec. 29 which was his wife Barbara’s birthday. (You can see her in  the background.)  Vic Peri of the Village of Buttonwood took the picture and Bob Martin, also of the Village of St. James, watched.

“I’ve only been playing a little over two years, much to the consternation of a lot of friends who have been playing much longer without having this kind of luck.”
