A Villager is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly stealing his mother’s personal identification number and withdrawing money from her bank account.
Mark David Radford, 37, of 1107 Paradise Drive, is being held on $18,000 bond at the Lake County Jail on charges of criminal use of ID without consent, fraudulent use of credit card, and theft from a person over the age of 65.
He is accused of withdrawing money on Friday and Saturday from his mother’s account at Sun Trust Bank on the Historic Side of The Villages.
He allegedly took her credit/debit card and withdrew money from an ATM after obtaining her PIN number.
Lady Lake police were called Saturday to the home on Paradise Drive shared by mother and son. The mother had confronted the son about the withdrawals from her account.
The withdrawals totaled a little more than $400.
Radford is due for arraignment May 26 in Lake County Court.
