Villager arrested on trespass charge

A Villager who had been ordered to stay off property in The Villages was arrested by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy after he was found sitting in the pool area of the property from which he had been banned.

Robert Angelo Muniza, 71, was arrested on a charge of trespass on Saturday afternoon in the Village of Pennecamp, according to the arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

He was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $500.
