Villager exonerated in bribery case

A federal court on Wednesday exonerated a Villager and three other former high-ranking Army officers in a bribery case.

Villager Edwin Livington III, 67, of The Villages, was found not guilty on a total of 32 counts of bribery and fraud, according to a ruling by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Livingston had been indicted last year.
