Villager facing felony charges after allegedly stealing pills from neighbor

A 60-year-old Villager is facing felony charges after she allegedly entered her next-door neighbor’s home and stole 200 prescription pills.

Sue Ellen Whipple of Sassparilla Way is accused of entering her neighbor’s home on April 28 and removing 120 Lyrica and 80 Tramadol, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The neighbor told deputies that Whipple had taken pills from her before, but that she had not reported it.

Whipple is facing felony charges of burglary and larceny.

She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $12,000.
