Patty Porter of the Village of Collier got a hole-in-one on Wednesday, Oct. 11 while playing at Ladies Day at Volusia Executive Golf Course.
“This event was extra special because I was able to share the excitement with my ladies day friends who play Volusia and and my Ladies Day friends visiting from Turtle Mound. And it was also the closest to the pin hole and our team came in at 6 under,” she said.
She moved to The Villages from Tampa four years ago. She has been playing golf for three years.
