Paws and Purrs Jewelry features personalized, custom dog and cat tags made from Swarovski Crystal and Sterling Silver and then creates matching necklaces for their owners.

Villager Karen D’Andrea started working with sterling silver 10 years ago and has combined her love of animals with jewelry design.

“Our pets give us unconditional love and fill our hearts with joy,” she said. “Don’t they deserve more than the cheap metal dog and cat tags currently available?”

In addition to tags, Paws and Purrs has sterling and Swarovski pet barrettes and “little paw” ankle and wrist bracelets.

Paws and Purrs Jewelry is located in the Village of Liberty Park. Products can be seen and ordered on-line at www.pawspurrsjewelry.com. Appointments to view the work locally can be made by calling (352) 430-1386.
