Villager recovering from surgery discovers all of her jewelry missing

A Village of Springdale woman recovering from recent surgery, discovered that all of her jewelry is missing from her home.

The 72-year-old woman who lives on Milford Avenue reportedly had surgery on Feb. 25 and removed and packed away all of her jewelry, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

While she was recovering from surgery she did not wear her jewelry and reportedly wanted to have it cleaned.

She reported the missing jewelry to the sheriff’s office on Wednesday.

The stolen jewelry includes a white gold chain with multiple diamonds, pearl earrings, white gold hoop earrings, and a half carat gold diamond ring with 21 diamonds.
