A Villager has been released from the Lake County Jail after being sentenced to 55 days in jail with credit for time served.
Thomas Edward McVay, 43, of 1316 Teakwod Lane, pleaded no contest Feb. 20 in front of Judge Donna F. Miller to a charge of driving while license suspended. He had previously been convicted of the same charge.
McVay had been arrested by Lady Lake police in October on a charge of driving while license suspended with knowledge.
At the time he was arrested with two other Villagers as police were investigating complaints about illegal activity on the Historic Side of The Villages.
