A Villager’s 51-year-old live-in boyfriend arrested July 24 on a felony charge of battery, has been arrested again.
Stephen Vincent Cinquegrano had been charged with pushing his girlfriend to the ground during a verbal argument last month at her home in the Village of Alhambra.
Cinquegrano is now facing a felony contempt of court charge for violating a no contact order.
It was on July 25 in Sumter County Court that Judge William H. Hallman III ordered Cinquegrano not to have contact with the victim.
But while out on bond, Cinquegrano began calling the victim’s cell phone, according to the latest arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The victim answered a call from Cinquegrano and he told he he knew “23 ways to kill her,” according to the arrest report. The victim told deputies that Cinquegrano had his friends ask her to drop the pending charges. Another witness told deputies that Cinquegrano had been spotted near the victim’s residence and places where she was in public. The victim also told deputies there had been damage to her residence and bright lights had been shined in her window at night.
On Tuesday, deputies contacted Cinquegrano, who admitted to calling the victim’s cell phone. He is now being held without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
Cinquegrano has two previous battery convictions in Rhode Island, one in 2001 and another in 2005.
