Villager’s motor home involved in minor accident with pickup at Kangaroo on U.S. 301

A Villager’s motorhome was involved in a minor accident Sunday morning at the Kangaroo service station on U.S. 301 in Wildwood.

Dean Frederick Belmonte, 74, had been at the wheel of the 2013 Leprechaun motorhome at about 10:30 a.m. at the pump at the service station when he backed into a parked 2015 Ram pickup owned by Travis and Kendall Emrich of Summerfield, according to an accident report from the Wildwood Police Department. Amy Marie Emrich, 41, had been sitting in the pickup at the time of the accident.

No one was injured. Belmonte was determined to be at fault but was not ticketed, according to the accident report.
