Villagers plan golf cart caravan in support of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump

Villagers will embark on a golf cart caravan Friday in support of Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.

Trump supporters will gather in their decked-out golf carts at 3:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Barnes & Noble in Lake Sumter Landing. The caravan is set to take off at 4 p.m.

The event is being held to rally support for the billionaire presidential hopeful in advance of Florida’s Presidential Preference Primary on March 15.

Early voting has already begun in Lake County. Early voting begins Saturday in Sumter and Marion counties.
