Villages Health audiologist to talk about her own hearing loss on Tuesday

Dr. Laura Pratesi, an audiologist with the Villages Health will speak to the Hearing Loss Association of America-Central Florida on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at Churchill Street Recreation Center.

The group will meet from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Triple Crown Room.

Growing up with hearing loss, Dr. Pratesi became an audiologist knowing that she’d be of  help and understanding to her patients with hearing loss. She’ll share her life experience dealing with hearing loss and talk about other hearing-loss related topics. Also, on the group’s agenda will be Tony Curtis, Operations Officer for the Villages Community Emergency Response Team.
