Villages Health pulled the old bait-and-switch tactic

To the Editor:

One of the reasons we moved here was the acceptance of our Medicare. Being an over 55 retirement community the central concept was to make live easier for retired residents. Now one of the communities fundamental selling points is being changed. It reminds me of the old, “Bait-and-switch” tactics used by unscrupulous salespersons. Imagine if the media would start to report it with that spin, what would happen to sales? I hope the Morse family rethinks their decision and does the right thing.
