Villages Honor Flight to receive major award this week from VHA

Villages Honor Flight will be picking up a major award this week.

Honor Flight will receive the Villages Homeowners Association’s Volunteer of the Year award.

The VHA Annual Awards general meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 at Lake Miona Recreation Center.

The District Customer Service Department will be honored as the VHA’s Partner of the Year. And the Sumter County Tax Collector will be saluted as Service Organization of the Year.

The speaker will be retired Judge Thomas Skidmore.
