The Villages Parrot Heads will hold a benefit Tuesday for the Wildwood Soup Kitchen.

The Villages Parrot Heads and Cody’s Original Roadhouse in Lake Sumter Landing will sponsor a fundraiser to benefit the Wildwood Soup Kitchen, a community outreach which the Villages Parrot Heads have always supported with donations and volunteers.

The event will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 27.

The soup kitchen provides meals to 100 people each day plus 150 meals to homebound people and has started a  program which is providing weekend packages to 83 children. The cost of the fundraiser is a $5 wristband. Cody’s is providing the food and music, thus 100 percent  of the funds go directly to the charity.
