In observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25 the following holiday sanitation and recycling collection schedule will occur in the Sumter and Marion county portion of The Villages:
• Residents with Monday as their normally scheduled recycling collection day will have their recyclable material picked up on Saturday May 23 PRIOR to the Memorial Day Holiday on Monday May 25.
• There will be NO recycling collection service on Monday, May 25.
• There will be NO trash collection service on Monday, May 25. Trash collection service will resume on your next regularly scheduled pick up day. For example: if your trash is picked up on Mondays & Thursdays, you will receive service on Thursday only for this week.
