A 21-year-old Villages restaurant employee was arrested Wednesday after a fight with his girlfriend in the restaurant’s Spanish Springs parking lot.

John Louis Servo was arguing with his live-in girlfriend over a car key in the parking lot behind Luigino’s at 1101 Main St., according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The verbal argument turned physical and Servo allegedly pulled the woman from the car. A third-party at the scene intervened and told Servo to take his hands off the victim.

The altercation left the victim with a cut on her finger and a bruised chest, the arrest report indicated.

Servo was booked on a charge of domestic battery at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.

Servo is due for arraignment April 8 in Lake County Court.
