Cleaning company employee’s purse stolen from golf cart while working at town square

A cleaning company employee’s purse was stolen from a golf cart this past Sunday morning while she was working at a town square in The Villages.

The woman left her purse in a company-owned golf cart parked on Alonzo Avenue near Spanish Springs Town Square.

The purse was stolen sometime between 8 and 8:30 a.m., according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The purse contained $3 in cash, a Chase Bank card, the woman’s Florida driver’s license and miscellaneous personal items.
