Twenty-five fully decorated Christmas trees are currently on display at the Waterfront Inn at Lake Sumter Landing.
The trees will be auctioned off from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the annual Festival of Trees event to benefit Sumter County Special Olympics.
Those who wish, may view the trees and place bids in the days leading up to the event. The trees are on view in the hotel lobby.
“We encourage all to stop by the hotel lobby, even if they have no interest in making a bid on a tree. It’s a sight not to be missed,” said Villager Gail Burgess, a volunteer with Sumter County Special Olympics.
