To the Editor:
As an owner of two E-bikes and riding the multi-modal paths I am always considerate of others when sharing the paths. I wish that some golf cart drivers would be as considerate.
I have been run off the paths by passing carts cutting me off, carts have pulled out in front of me and my wife creating near misses, we’ve been sworn at by cart drivers because they think the paths are made for them. Even once we were passed in a tunnel by a woman obviously in hurry to get to a ladies luncheon.
So much for the The Villages being the friendliest town.
What’s the hurry? Why possibly injure or maim someone over being a minute or two later? If it’s that important why not leave a few minutes earlier.
