Vincent Palmisano, 86, of Lady Lake, FL, passed away on September 27, 2015. He was the youngest of four children born in New York City to Anthony and Anna. He was raised in Revere, Massachusetts, where he called home for 50+ years before retiring to Lady Lake, Florida. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by Pamela, his wife of 62 years, of Lady Lake FL; David and his wife Paula of Portsmouth, NH; Anthony and his wife Renee of Mt. Juliet, TN; Stephen and his wife Jill of Millbury, MA; Terese Cyr and her husband Joseph of Salem, NH; Richard and his wife Melissa of Jacksonville, FL. His son Robert S. predeceased him. He also leaves 12 grandchildren whom he adored and was adored by. Vinny was a caring, kind man who gave of himself and was always willing to lend a hand. He was a friend to all who knew him and an inspiration to his entire family. He was a lifelong frequent blood donor to the American Red Cross, always giving of himself. Vinny served his country with honor during the Korean War in the USAF as an aircraft maintenance mechanic. He was employed by Eastern Airlines at Logan Airport for 27 years as a lead aircraft maintenance mechanic. Never one to sit still, he enjoyed tinkering with projects around his home, golfing with his friends and was an avid, lifelong New England sports fan. He was most proud, above all things, of his family and being a good family man. Vinny will be laid to rest with military honors, alongside his son Robert, at Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Vinny will be greatly missed by his family and all who had the pleasure to know him.
