A cleaning lady arrested earlier this month at SeaBreeze Recreation Center is facing additional charges in Lake County.

Nancy Miller, 61, has been held since July 1 at the Sumter County Detention Center following her arrest by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies in the theft of a blue sapphire ring and gold rope bracelet from a home in the Village of Lake Deaton. She had been working for Happy Ladies Cleaning Service at the time of the alleged theft. Deputies caught up to her while she was doing a job at SeaBreeze Recreation Center. Now a warrant has been issued in connection with the theft of items from a Villager who had taken Miller in after her release from The Villages Regional Hospital. You can read more about that case HERE. Tools taken from the Good Samaritan have since been tracked down at area pawn shops.

Earlier this month, a Lady Lake Police Department detective went to interview Miller at the jail in Sumter County. She refused to speak to him.

A warrant has been issued for her arrest. A hold has been placed on Miller at the Sumter County Detention Center. Her bond in Sumter County has been set at $9,000.

In 2013, Miller had been arrested by Lady Lake police on drug and theft charges.
