Weaving driver arrested on DUI charge near Oakwood on U.S. Hwy. 27/441

A 29-year-old Ocala woman whose automobile was spotted weaving on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 at County Road 466 was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.

Amanda Corene Howard was pulled over at about 9 p.m. Saturday near Oakwood Smokehouse, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

She provided a breath sample that registered .121 blood alcohol content. She later admitted to the police officer that she had consumed a watermelon-flavored Four Loko.

She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.
