Wendy Lynn Millner Jones

Wendy Lynn Millner Jones, of Fruitland Park, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 11, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Fred Jones; stepdaughter, Caitlin; mother and stepfather, Paula and Lynn Gilgen; father and stepmother, Jon and Marti Millner; a sister, Amy; and a brother, Josh. Wendy was born on September 26, 1969, in Ft. Hood, Texas. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She taught in Central Florida for 21 years with her last teaching position being at Rimes Elementary School in Leesburg, Florida.

A Memorial Celebration of Wendy’s life will be held at Northside Christian Church, 3115 Eagle’s Nest Road, Fruitland Park, Florida, on Friday, January 13th, at 6 p.m.

Donations in Wendy’s memory may be made to Northside Christian Church/Food Bank, 3115 Eagle’s Nest Road, Fruitland Park, FL 34731.
