A 27-year-old Wildwood man is being held without bond after he allegedly threatened to kill his mother after she asked him to help clean up the house.
Tyrone Bernard Davilmar was arrested by Wildwood police shortly after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the bedroom of the home he shares with his mother in the 600 block of Second Street.
He was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon and possession of marijuana.
The victim told police that her son had become enraged when she asked for help cleaning up the house.
She told police that he had threatened, “I will kill you and me and I will tear up this house I don’t care,” according to the arrest report.
She also said he threw a picture frame at her and went to the kitchen for a knife, the arrest report indicated.
When police arrived and entered Davilmar’s bedroom, a bag containing marijuana and a knife were discovered.
Davilmar was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center.
