Wildwood man arrested on charges of trespass, resisting arrest

Lyndon Ford

A 25-year-old Wildwood man was arrested on charges of trespass and resisting a law enforcement officer Monday morning.

Lyndon Antwan Ford was at a property on Dade Avenue in Bushnell which he was forbidden to be at, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.  When a deputy arrived at the scene, Ford acknowledged that he was not allowed on the property, the report indicated.

However, when the deputy attempted to take Ford into custody he became extremely agitated and made several attempts to free himself from restraints. When the deputy placed Ford in his patrol car, Ford began kicking the patrol car door and window. The deputy had to remove Ford from the patrol vehicle and place a second restraint on him.

He was taken to the Sumter County Detention Center where he was booked.
