Wildwood man arrested after throwing pieces of brick at mother’s car

A 19-year-old Wildwood man was arrested by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies after he allegedly threw pieces of a broken brick at a car.

Jalen Shareef Gooden was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center following the incident Wednesday evening at a home at East County Road 462 in Wildwood.

Gooden had been thrown out of the house by his mother, according to the arrest report.

Bond was set at $1,000.
