A Wildwood man was indicted this past week on charges of attempting to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity and committing a felony offense involving a minor while registered as a sex offender.

Fifty-year-old Joseph Robert Meahl, a registered sex offender, was arrested earlier this month in Broward County when he showed up for a rendezvous with what he thought was going to be three underage boys. Instead, it was an undercover sting set up by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Meahl reportedly brought along a camcorder and had planned to film the counter.
