Wildwood sex offender arrested after failure to register his address

A 32-year-old Wildwood man convicted of a sex offense was arrested Thursday after he failed to register his address as required by law.

Terrance Jamel Wolfe was arrested by Sumter County sheriff’s deputy and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was being held without bond.

In 2007, Wolfe had been convicted in Lake County on a charge of lewd and lascivious sexual battery involving a victim between 12 and 15 years old. He was convicted in 2012 in Lake County of failure to register as a sexual offender.
