Wildwood sports bar shut down after health violations discovered

A Wildwood sports bar was shut down last week after roach and rodent activity was discovered.

Dani’s Sports Bar & Grill was the subject of an emergency closure this past Friday after six high-priority violations and 24 lesser violations were discovered by an inspector, according to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

The inspector found the presence of insects, rodents, or other pests.

“One rodent in kitchen, ran out from behind fryers and into liquor storage area, one in metal pan on food storage shelf in back room, operator carried him outside in the pan where he jumped out,” the inspector wrote in his report.

The sports bar was allowed to reopen the following day after the violations were corrected.
