A 27-year-old Wildwood woman was jailed without bond after she allegedly attacked a man with a hot electric iron Tuesday afternoon.

Marion Darice Allen was allegedly in an altercation with a man at a residence on County Road 205B, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. He had been trying to take his belongings back into the residence after Allen had removed them, the report indicated. She allegedly tackled the man on the bed, then followed him out of the residence with an electric steam iron and struck his arm with it. The man told law enforcement that she also hit him several times with a hot pink high-heeled shoe.

Allen was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on a felony charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
